I've been photographing this gorgeous boy his entire life. We do a family shoot every year on his birthday week. It's a lovely tradition that allows me to really see his growth over the years, emotionally and physically. He is an active, bright, vibrant little boy with a BIG personality. And he is very very very loved by his parents. I love listening to him speak Swedish with his mom and it makes me kick myself for not trying harder to teach my two kiddos my native tongue (French) when they were little even though I had a spouse and stepson who was totally resistant. Now that we are doing our own thing, I am determined to try to make up for lost time. Big summer plans to work on French over here, folks! :0
Despite my big leg brace, the shoot was a breeze and we were blessed with incredible light before the fog rolled in. My favorite kind of soft, buttery light working its way through the clouds and then allowing me to use my reflectors and my OCF just the way I like to use them. PERFECTION. It certainly doesn't hurt that Oliver is absolutely beautiful and incredibly photogenic and willing to pose for me, which makes me & my camera very happy indeed.
Patricia and Leo, thank you for spending time with me doing our annual tradition. Oliver is such a hoot and I just so very much enjoy our time together. ENJOY your sneak peek!
