This shoot was scheduled to be Estelle's annual shoot to celebrate her 3rd birthday. We had planned it to happen just before her baby brother's arrival but *someone* decided to show up quite early! So, we decided to make it a family shoot instead! And while baby brother was only 2 weeks old and as fresh as they come, mom and dad did NOT want a "naked baby newborn" shoot. They wanted the focus to still be primarily on Estelle and to also capture some images of the new family unit as a whole. No solo baby posed shots desired. Rather, capturing some loving, tender moments of the new family and especially Estelle and Sebastian together connecting with each other!
This family lives in an amazing house that leaves me spellbound every time I visit them. You can check out their site HERE. Daniel and Nancy produce every conceivable fruit and vegetable on their acres of land in the Los Gatos mountains and have all kinds of animals roaming on the property as well including their beloved dog Sartaj whom I first met as a tiny little puppy when Estelle was just a little baby herself.
Here are just a few favorites from our session. CONGRATULATIONS to the family on the early arrival of Mister Sebastian! He is absolutely adorable. And a big thank you to Grandma who was visiting. Her extra set of hands were incredibly helpful during the shoot! (and I'm sure the rest of the time too!)
Some adorable sibling shots where Estelle did a remarkable job safely holding and cradling her baby brother. She was incredibly tender, sweet and gentle with him.
Estelle LOVES Sartaj!
Mister Sebastian - such a cutie!
A very proud papa with his boy. :)
They have this awesome silver seahorse surrounded by bamboo on the property. I wasn't able to get pictures of Estelle on it last year but this year she was ready for it! :)
One last shot as the sun was disappearing. Love her saucer eyes!
